Coastal and Marine Areas Development Initiative (CMADI) is a non-governmental organisation incorporated in December 2010. It was birthed due to the need to address several challenges in the coastal communities. Our focus is on empowerment of the people in the coastal communities through capacity building and development which will then increase the chances of them living a better life. CMADI has been engaged to work with notable development organisations in community development;  conducting Peaceable Livelihood Assessment for Community Engagement and Sustainable Livelihoods and Biodiversity Project (SLBP), promoting value chains towards poverty/crisis reductions.
