Chief Presiding Officer

Mr. Henry Aboyewa Erikowa, Chief Presiding Officer of Coastal and Marine Areas Development Initiative, Lead for the privately owned Falcorp Mangrove Park. He is a dedicated community development advocate and seasoned environmentalist with a passion for improving the livelihoods of marginalized communities.

With many decades of experience in project management and grassroots mobilization, he has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing impactful initiatives in coastal communities. Mr. Erikowa is highly skilled in fostering partnerships between local organizations, government agencies, and international stakeholders to address critical issues such as environmental sustainability, education, economic development. His leadership has empowered countless individuals through capacity-building programs and innovative community-driven solutions.

A firm believer in inclusive development, Mr. Erikowa champions the cause of underrepresented groups, including women and youth, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes. Known for his strategic thinking and hands-on approach, he continues to inspire change and advocate for a better future.

Dr Mrs Oritseweyinmi Erikowa-Orighoye

Director of Programs

Weyinmi Erikowa-Orighoye is a dynamic Paediatrician, public health practitioner, environmentalist, researcher with a deep commitment to fostering sustainable development and social inclusion. As the Director of Programs for Coastal and Marine Areas Development Initiative (CMADI), she has pioneered projects that bridge gaps in health, education, and environmental awareness in underserved coastal communities.

Weyinmi's expertise spans program development, stakeholder engagement, and youth empowerment, with a focus on aligning grassroots initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her impactful programs include SDG school clubs, mobile clinics for coastal communities, and initiatives promoting mental health, leadership, and social equity.

Weyinmi seamlessly blends academia with practical experience, inspiring the next generation of changemakers. Passionate about creating lasting change, Weyinmi is a sought-after collaborator, speaker, and mentor, continually striving to improve the quality of life for vulnerable populations.

He is a skilled partnership builder and a champion for inclusive development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing impactful initiatives that improve livelihoods in coastal communities.

Ben Ovberedjo

Trustee/Director, Public Relations

Ben Ovberedjo lends his considerable communication skills to CMADI as a Trustee and Director of Public Relations.

His background includes a successful career in broadcasting with the Delta State Broadcasting Service and ongoing work as a coach, content developer, and talk show host at Mega 89.1 FM.

Fredrica Omawumi Tonwe

Trustee/ Director, Financial Services

Fredrica Omawumi Tonwe is an Assistant Director with the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service, where she has gained extensive experience in taxation.

A member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria (CITN) and the Joint Tax Board (JTB), she serves CMADI as Trustee/Director of Financial Services.

Michael O. Ewetan

Michael Ewetan combines his expertise as Managing Director of a major oil and gas servicing company with a deep commitment to community leadership.

He is instrumental in facilitating community entry for program assessments and implementations.

Juliet B. Erikowa

Trustee

Juliet Erikowa brings over 35 years of experience in procurement to her role as Trustee.

Her extensive career as a procurement analyst and buyer with Chevron Nigeria Limited provides valuable insights into supply chain management and strategic sourcing.
